FEBRUARY 2005

Greetings and Happy New Year a little bit late. With the hectic lives we live, we are starting off the New Year and newsletter a month late. I think it took most of January for me to recoup from the Holidays. I know it took half the month to get all the decorations down and put away for two houses. Our wonderful Editor had been very busy with computer courses the last few months. Lynda is learning a lot and so glad because WE all know Ma'am is far from being a techie. Trish has been traveling back and forth from Texas to Oregon and finally just HAD to get a new lappy to keep track of us in the forum, NOT that we need watching!! <rolling eyes> As far as the rest of this fine staff..

Becca has been busy at work during the holidays and the hotel business is so busy that time of year. Still waiting to see some of the wonderful pictures of the hotel decorations!<hint hint> <LOL>
Gin and the boys are probably still trying to shovel out of the snow! What a winter this year.

Wooly had a few travels the end of the year and he is finally back and we all missed you! Lynda did a wonderful job filling in and kept the place in order.

Rascal has been doing some traveling as well, although I think he will be happy when these trips are over. You can still find him in his Sunday night chats.

Lillyrose, gosh we miss you sis, the good news is she finally had the knee operation and is recouping at home. We hope to see Lilly back raising havoc again soon.

JustDar has returned to the States safe and sound and without using the "bail fund" although I am wondering how with some of the stories I have heard. I am sure we will get some details here in the newsletter. Welcome home Dar!!

Tracey and Teri, I have not forgotten you!!
Teri started a message thread on Quit Smoking! WOW, it took off and in the last month several members and STAFF have jumped on the bandwagon. True there have been a few falls however Congratulations for all for trying and you all will succeed.
Tracey is back to work after some time off in December part vacation part recouping from surgery. Doing fine now and the streets of Toronto have their bus driver back.
Teri, well the circus is still keeping her busy. The little grandson is so cute, I think he has Grandma Teri wrapped around his little finger.
Tallie, our MIA A/Sysop, I received and email from Tallie two days ago. Things are still hectic and hopefully will settle down soon. I do miss my Sis Tallie and she will be back someday.

Tech and I have been busy and have also planned a few vacations for this year. We are doing a train trip in March for a few days through the gorgeous Sierra Mountains. We also have a cruise planned for September, a 15-day cruise to Hawaii!! WoooHooo, I am excited about that.

Forum News, a few changes in our Scheduled events. Gin has introduced a new game on Tuesday evening. Teri has a scheduled chat on Monday evening as well as the Quit Smoking Chat on Friday evening.
