It’s been a long while and I’ve been meaning to keep writing things as they happen, but as usual times gets away from me! So much has happened, I don’t even know where to start.

Last time I told you all about my friend, Tygre who used to come into the forum. She was in the hospital, awaiting surgery. She scared the crap out of us all a few times, but I’m happy to report, her surgery was a huge success and she’s at home recuperating. She still has one more surgery to go, but they did get all the cancer.

My sister and brother-in-laws adventure with their house, which they were supposed to move into in September continues to this day! They did move into the house….December 3rd! They spent 4 months living at my parents house. It went pretty well, but all of them were glad when moving day rolled around. They still have not finished the house, but it is liveable! I haven’t been to the new place yet and have only seen pictures.

You all know I hate working day shift. Having an alarm going off at 4:00 a.m. just doesn’t sit well with me. I’ve been really lucky and managed to find work I can live with that starts later in the day.

I even tried to come out at 3:00 p.m. one day, and that just didn’t work either! I scared the crap out of those little darling school kids too. They never did show up the rest of the week!

I plan to stay on this later working thing as long as I can now. I get so much more done during the day, plus I don’t have to get up with an alarm

No Smoking!I quit smoking too! Now that was something I NEVER thought I would do, but I’ve somehow managed to go close to 7 weeks as of writing this. Again, another incentive, my friend, who has been affectionately nicknamed the “concord pilot”, has a rare form of oral cancer. He had his surgery March 1st, it was a huge success and he’s doing very well under the circumstances.

And I think Spring may have finally sprung around here! About time too! I’m sick of this winter stuff! I look forward to going out for walks and not wearing layers of clothing to work at night.

That’s about it for now!
