Well folks here it is fall again already! You know what that means?
It's time to change the flowers in the flower beds!!! And what is prettier and more colorful than pansies? Pansies are an excellent choice for the winter months as they are low maintenence. There are a variety of colors to choose from too! You can purchase them at the local nursery or do as I do and go to Home Depot (they're cheaper there!) You can put them in a flower bed or in assorted decorated pots on your porch.

No need to fertilize them right now, better to wait towards the end of fall. When planting allow four inches between them for the best look.

When it frosts don't fret as they sometimes will look droopy but will come right back when it warms up. Also they are prettier when you plant all one color in each pot. Very eye catching! So lets get going in that yard and plant those smiley face pansies to greet you when you come home from a hard days work! Have a happy winter season!!!!
